About GoToolGo

GoToolGo builds free, no-signup fitness and health calculators based on real, verified formulas — not made-up estimates dressed up in a nice interface.

Who Writes Our Guides

Our guide content is written by Maria Santos, CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist). Maria reviews every formula against the published research it's based on before it goes live, and updates content when a calculator's underlying method changes.

Our Methodology

Every formula on this site is checked against published research and cross-verified before it goes live:

⚠️ What these calculators are — and aren't: Every number on GoToolGo is a population-based estimate intended for general fitness planning, not a medical diagnosis or personalized clinical advice. If you have a specific health condition, are pregnant, or are managing a medical concern, talk to a doctor or registered dietitian before making significant changes to your diet or training based on any calculator's output.

Why We Don't Build Restaurant-Specific or Brand-Specific Calculators

You may notice we don't have a "Starbucks calorie calculator" or a calculator branded around a specific fitness influencer's program, even though those terms get searched constantly. Restaurant nutrition data changes often and requires ongoing verification we're not in a position to maintain reliably, and building tools branded around someone else's trademark isn't something we do. We'd rather build fewer tools we can stand behind fully.

Editorial Standards

Pages are dated with a "last updated" timestamp in their structured data. If you spot a calculation that looks wrong or a formula that's been superseded by newer research, we want to know — reach out through the Contact page and we'll review it.
